As one of the drought-tolerant oil plants, safflower is very important in the food supply chain. At the end of the improvement path in line with the expansion of new cultivars, compatibility tests and determining the agricultural value of cultivars are always of particular importance. In this regard, the evaluation of the performance and stability of the performance of 13 top safflower lines, along with the two controls Goldasht and Padideh cultivars, was carried out during two cropping years in 5 regions of the country, including Karaj, Zabul, Mashhad, Tabriz and Isfahan. The experiment was conducted in all regions in the form of randomized complete block design with 3 replications. During the growth period and after harvesting, traits such as flowering start date, flowering end date, number of sub-branches, boll size, thorn intensity, plant height, flower color, seed yield, 1000 seed weight and oil percentage were recorded respectively. The results of composite variance analysis showed that the interaction effect of genotype in the environment has become significant and the genotypes have shown different behaviors in different environments. For this reason, the evaluation of the stability of the genotypes and also the recommendation of some lines for some specific regions were carried out. Comparison of average data showed that the earliest line is SAF-99-08, which was about 12 days earlier than Goldasht. After that, the SAF-99-02 code was the earliest, which was 11 days earlier in the average of all regions and in two years than Goldasht. Also, the highest seed yield was observed in these two lines. The highest percentage of oil was observed in the SAF-99-24 line, which, in addition to the high percentage of oil, has a very thin shell and is suitable for oil extraction. This line with about 39% oil is the first safflower that has nearly 40% oil and the seed yield is at a normal level. GGE biplot analysis showed that the two lines SAF-99-08 and SAF-99-02 have good stability to different environments in addition to early maturity and high grain yield. The results of this test showed that the SAF-99-08 line can be used as an early spring line with high performance, the SAF-99-02 line as an early autumn line with high performance, and SAF-99-24 as a spring-autumn line, Introduced and developed in the country with the purpose of oil extraction.
