Plant genetic resources are one of the most valuable resources of any country, which it maintain human health, food security and prepare materials need to prebreeding programs by preserving, maintaining and characteristic them. The National Plant Gene Bank of Iran has preserved about 912 accessions of pumpkin and we regenerated 450 accessions during 1401 to 1403. Each accession was cultivated directly on a line with 4 meters in the research farm of the Seed and Plant Improvement Institute (SPII). The seeds cultivated with 50 cm in row and 200 cm between rows. The important traits according to international descriptors characterized including the peduncle shape, fruit skin texture, skin color, fruit shape, fruit type, growth type, flesh texture and color. The flowers in each accessions were isolated by pocket. In this project, 381 accessions were successfully regenerated. Also, 11 morphotypes were identified. According to the results, 13.12% of the accessions were bushy, 79.27% were creeping, and 7.61% were intermediate. Also, in this project there were diverse fruit shapes like beveled, egg-shaped, turbine-shaped, curved, melon-shaped, elongated, ornamental, cylindrical, heart-shaped, round, disc-shaped, dumbbell-shaped, and pear-shaped.
