Crop pattern design and implementation is one of the most important issues in agricultural planning. The purpose of monitoring the crop pattern program is to monitor and evaluate the results achieved and provide feedback to the implementation department. In Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, a provincial working group for monitoring the implementation of the crop pattern was formed with the aim of identifying challenges, problems and technical, educational, extension and implementation obstacles. The results of monitoring the crop pattern indicate that only the area under cultivation of crops such as wheat and barley under irrigation and rainfed has been implemented completely in accordance with the plan. In relation to crops such as paddy, rainfed chickpeas, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, fodder corn, alfalfa and sugar beet, the achieved area is slightly higher than the expected level. On the other hand, the program objectives regarding rainfed lentils, melons, cucumbers, clover, safflower, rapeseed and camelina have not been fully achieved, so that the percentage of realization for these products is 80, 61, 38, 67, 2, 25 and 3 percent respectively. The cultivated area of potatoes, fodder corn and onions is more than the announced plan, which can be due to the economic aspect of these products and farmers have been inclined to cultivate these products due to their higher price. On the other hand, the implementation of modern irrigation systems is in line with increasing irrigation efficiency and reducing water losses. In this province, for all crops, the amount and level of implementation of modern irrigation systems have been fully implemented according to the plan. According to the information obtained, the degree of mechanization in this province has been fully achieved, i.e. 100 percent. On the other hand, according to the plan, 230 hectares of land should have been leveled and integrated in 1402-03, which has been done in 445 hectares, and the percentage of its realization is 193%. Since the implementation of the cultivation pattern reform program requires the cooperation of several executive agencies (Agricultural Jihad Organization, Regional Water, Meteorology, etc.), it is proposed that the duties of each agency be specified and defined in the cultivation pattern document program, and that necessary coordination be established between the agencies influential in the implementation of the cultivation pattern. It should also be noted that for the successful implementation of the cultivation pattern, a set of environmental, economic, social, etc. factors should be considered, and then, by considering these issues and making decisions, farmers should be forced to comply with it.
