هندوانه آجیلی یکی از مهمترین صیفی جات آجیلی کشور بوده که در برخی مناطق خراسان رضوی کشت می شود. به منظور بررسی امکان افزایش تولید بذر، دو آزمایش در تابستان سالهای 1402 در دو پایگاه تحقیقاتی در شهرهستان های سبزوار و تربت حیدریه انجام شد. در این پروژه بذر خوراکی هندوانه آجیلی که طی چندین سال کار اصلاحی به بدست آمده بود با توده بومی در دو منطقه تربت حیدریه و سبزوار مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت. در این بررسی در هر شهرستان، جمعیت هندوانه آجیلی اصلاح شده در سطح 5000 مترمربع و جمعیت هندوانه آجیلی بومی (اولیه) نیز در سطح 5000 مترمربع کشت شد. این دو جمعیت از نظر عملکرد و خصوصیات کیفی مورد مقایسه قرار گرفتند. تاريخ كاشت 15 ارديبهشت و در ردیفهاي با فاصله 5/2 متر كشت انجام شد. صفاتي مانند تعداد روز تا گلدهی و تشکیل میوه، تاریخ برداشت اول و دوم ، تعداد ميوه در بوته، متوسط وزن ميوه و عملكرد ميوه و عملکرد دانه، متوسط تعداد دانه در میوه، متوسط وزن دانه در میوه، قطر و طول دانه و وزن هزار دانه اندازه گيري شد. در پایان داده ها به روش t تست تجزیه شده و نتایج گزارش شده است ،چون توده اصلاح شده از نظر عملکرد و خصوصیات کیفی بذر با جمعیت توده های بومی تفاوت داشت نتیجه گرفتیم که جمعیت اصلاح شده نسبت به توده بومی تا حدودی برتر است، لذا نسبت به تکثیر جمعیت اصلاح شده و معرفی رقم در آینده نزدیک اقدام خواهد شد.

Nutty watermelon is one of the most important summer nuts of the country, which is cultivated in some areas of Razavi Khorasan. In order to possibility investigation of the increasing seed production, two experiments were conducted in the summer of 2023 in two research fields in Sabzevar and Torbat Heydarieh cities.
In these experiments, the seed of nutty watermelon, which was obtained during several years of breeding work, was compared with the native seed in the two regions of Torbat Heydarieh and Sabzevar.
In each city, the selected nutty watermelon population was cultivated on an area of 5000 square meters and the native (primary) watermelon population was cultivated on an area of 5000 square meters. These two populations were compared at performance and quality characteristics. . Planting date was 4 May and planting was done in rows with a distance of 2.5 meters
Characteristics such as number of days until flowering and fruit formation, first and second harvest date, number of fruits per plant, average fruit weight and fruit yield and seed yield, average number of seeds per fruit, average seed weight per fruit, diameter and length of seeds and thousand seeds weight was measured. At the end, the data was analyzed by the t-test method and the results were reported.
Because the selected population was different from the native population in seed characteristics such as yield and quality, we concluded that the selected population is somewhat superior to the native population, therefore, the propagation of the selected population and the introduction of new variety will be done in the near future.
